The Scholars Program’s focus is to identify and designate participants from a scholarly and leadership perspective while adding value to their personal resume for a variety of future career and college experiences. The designation of Scholar brings with it eligibility for scholarship opportunities available both within and outside The First Tee network. A Scholar of The First Tee exhibits leadership and abundant community service, along with academic excellence, while continuing to contribute to their local Chapter of The First Tee through mentoring and/or tutoring opportunities. Scholars program applications are accepted once per year from seniors in high school who meet the minimum requirements.
