Year Round Programs at William Land Golf CourseAll classes are 9 weeks unless otherwise noted.

Students are assigned to classes based on age and ability. If you have questions or would like help selecting a class, please call Samantha Clawson at 916-451-6240 or via email

Membership Cost:

One Day per Week .........................................................................................  $ 99.95 per session
Two Days per week

Three Days per week

After School Year Round Membership (Ages 4-17) 
All programs are nine weeks long, from 4:00-5:30

Session Dates
Session 1 - January 14 to March 13 (Orientation January 9th  4:30pm)
Session 2 - March 25 to May 22 (Orientation March 21st - 4:30pm)
Session 3 - August 12 to October 9 (Orientation August 7th - 4:30pm)
Session 4 - October 14 to December 18** (Orientation October 9th - 4:30pm)
                                                       **We will skip Thanksgiving Week. 

At Orientation: Meet coaches, learn The First Tee golf and life skills philosophy, receive shirt, hat, life skills book and ask questions! Please bring your junior to Orientation with you!

Benefits of the Year-Round Membership

*  Sessions include 9 weeks of 1-hour lessons covering Life and Golf Skills.

*  First Tee Life Skills Certification event will be held at the end of each session.
    (Participants must have coach's approval to particpate.)

*  Includes a NCGA JR (Youth on Course) Membership for Playing League Members and Juniors 10+. (Contact your coach for details.)



PLAYer Life Skills: Respect for Yourself, Others and your Surroundings, Courtesy towards Others, Responsibility for the Course, Honesty of PLAYers, Modeling Sportsmanship, Developing Confidence, Using Good Judgment, Playing with Perseverance, Living with Integrity. 

Par Life Skills: Introducing Yourself, Respect, Meeting and Greeting, Having Fun While You Learn, Keeping Your Cool and Personal Par. 

Birdie Life Skills: Dreams and Goals, Positively Stating a Goal that is Important to You, Stating Goals Specifically, Setting Goals that are Under Your Control, Goal Ladders and Dealing with Challenges.

 

Eagle Life Skills: Staying Well for Life, Building a Go-To Team, Appreciating Diversity, Dealing with Conflicts, Be a Go-To Person, Planning for the Future.

 

Ace Life Skill Projects: Making Golf a Lifelong Sport, Exploring Careers and the Employment Process, Giving Back; Serving as a Mentor, Exploring Education Options.

 

How do you know which program is for you/your young golfer?

Find your age group..... 4 years and up;

Find your Life Skill Level ..... Player, Par, Birdie, Eagle, or Ace;

Find your Golf Skill Level ..... Beginner (new or seldom played), Intermediate (experienced), or Advanced (can break 100);

Identify time when you want to attend..... Summer, Saturdays, Year-Round.
